Sometimes Socialism is not that a bad word.I think more than a political philosophy it is the state of mind. I see it as an empathetic nature of a human being.
The most beautiful aspect of socialism is equal opportunity for all and the basic needs of human beings like education and health care constitutes the starting point of this equal opportunity.
I believe all things that constitute the basic needs for people should be in the hands of the state. It is the responsibility of the state.Food,Health care and education.
Right now I will discuss only education as I feel very strongly for this.I believe education is the most important factor that can lift an individual and gives him the opportunity to be what he wants to be. It can empower people and help them earn.
We are born equal and therefore I believe a child who has taken birth in a poor man’s home should get an equal opportunity to education as a child who is born in a rich home
There should be no private schools and there should not be any difference between standards of education in schools. The biggest drawback of allowing private schools is that it doesn’t give the opportunity to poor kids to intermingle with the other lot and enhance their confidence and thinking.
Private schools suck. They may give quality education but only to the privileged few who can donate them huge sums. They take interviews of the parents to make sure that the parents are educated, cultured and affluent. I would call it Cheap attitude of these expensive schools. What kind of morality these schools will teach kids?
Let education be a noble cause and not a fucking business. If we can set world standards in IIT’s and IIM’s why not in school education. How can one expect a child who does not get basic education to secure admission to these institutes? Equal school education is equivalent to equal opportunity. And preferably an independent entity should be formed to govern this.
Public schools are in pathetic condition. Please save our children and help them build their future before joining the so called saving the fucking tigers mission.

Attitude
Man always complains. He is never happy and content. The amount of money and power one has can never guarantee him peace of mind. A beggar may sleep peacefully on the roadside but a king may not get sleep on a cushy bed of his palace. Its all about ones attitude towards life. Living carefree and peacefully is all about ones approach. The objective of life is to live peacefully. Atleast that's mine. Its very important to sit back and contemplate about ones journey of life. Are you living your life peacefully or are you just running a blind race dictated by the society and circumstances ?
There is no point getting frustrated by society norms. My earlier post titled "Loser" shows my unhappiness and frustration. Now I realize that I am not a saint who is going to bring some revolutionary change.I can only do my part. I have started ignoring things that make me unhappy.I have implanted a filter in my brain that filters out unnecessary stuff.
I have adopted a formula for happiness.Firstly,Do whatever you feel like without caring what people or the society will react to it. Secondly, take care of the relationships with people you are close with and thirdly, ignore people and things that don't really matter to you. Believe me there are very few things that really matter.
Start doing your own things. Things that give you happiness.Don't get into the rat race. Its a conscious effort and I guess I have started doing that
And yes whining and complaining never helps.Ignoring does.
Sharing with you a beautiful ghazal by Qateel Shifai. It influenced me to the core.

Just Like That
I am penning my thoughts after a long time. I have not been very busy all these days. It’s just that it’s “just like that”. In fact today I am supposed to be very busy with so many meetings and so many clients to follow up but again just like that I am whiling away my office time. Damn how unprofessional I am. How convenient is “just like that”. I wish I could say that to my boss when targets are not met.
Sometimes when I introspect I see myself as one disinterested and lazy fellow. What I love is daydreaming (night dreaming as well) and getting my head occupied in nonsensical philosophical thoughts. I am sure If people were like me the world would stand still or maybe decline.
I am doing a lot of youtubing specially in my office time of new Metal videos. Check out Dethklok’s Bloodrocuted. It is sick and worth watching. You should also checkout Ghulam Ali’s “Kaisi chali hai abke hawa”. The guy is godlike.
It’s not like that I don’t work at all. In August I got a certificate for exemplary performance. That proves that most people don’t work when they are actually showing working. Imagine what would happen if I start working like working.
The other agenda going on in my life is getting married with hell lot of family pressure. My sister has put up my profile in Shaadi.com.They believe I will become normal once married. Damn I don’t want to spoil someone’s life. :D By normal Indian standards I should have got married by this age. But what the heck one can’t get married just for the heck. Or get me a Anoushka Shankar.
I think enough of useless stuff already. I can see lot of spelling and grammatical errors in this post suggested by our very own Dear Microsoft Word . My English was better in school. What the heck I am too busy to be correcting all this. I should atleast do some meetings to fill up my Daily work report. I got to go.

Melancholia
I have developed a new interest, that is of reading Urdu Poetry. When couple of my friends came to know about that, their reaction was "Man! I know you are going through some tough times ; that is why you are reading all this. I replied to them
Har mod pe miltey hain hamdard hazaron
Shayad meri basti mein adakar bahut hain..
I am a melancholic person by default. My life has been pretty good and I had a happy childhood but somehow I was always attracted to the gloomy stuff. I still remember when I was about 10 years old I really loved the movie "Ek doctor ki maut" aired on doordarshan. So I believe its more to do with my natural inclination rather than circumstances.Surprisingly I have this other part of me who likes humour in movies.Movies like jaane bhi do yaaron and katha are in my favourites list. But I believe these are far and few in between.
I have always liked music, poetry, photography or any art form which is dark, mysterious and pensive. Many of the urdu poetry is so beautiful, deep and sad that I became an instant big fan. I connect Urdu Poetry to the heavy metal music and get nostalgic about my younger years when that music had left an almost similar impression on me.I have read quite a lot of Ghalib and Faiz and found them truely amazing. They are considered as the best of the lot by most people.
But my favourite poet is Ahmad Faraz. His poetry is simple yet so meaningful and thought provoking. He simply rocks.Posting some of the ashaar of this great poet.
*In barishon se dosti achi nahi Faraz
kachha tera makan hay kuch to khayal kar
*Mana ke tum Guftago ke fun main mahir ho Faraz.
Wafa kay lafz pay atko to humhain yaad kar lena
*Gham ki jageer wirsat main mili hai mujh ko Faraz
apni jageer main rehta hun nawaboon ki tarah!!
*Zindagi to apnay hi qadmooo pay chalti hai Faraz
auroon ke saharay to janazay utha kartay hain !!
*Yeh acha hai ke bohat acha nhi huun main "Faraz"
Dukhii hoga na koii mere marne ke baad !!
*Kitaabon se Daleel duun ya Khud ko saamne rakh duun "Faraz"
Wo mujh se pooch baitha hai, Mohabbat kis ko kehte hain...!!
*Tujh ko gila hai ke duniya nay pher lee ankhain Faraz..
yeh to sada se riwaaz us ka tha !!
*Laakh ye chaha ke usko bhool jaon par Faraz
hosley apni jagah hai beybasi apni jagah !!
*Nikaal dey Faraz dil se khayal uska..
Yaadein kisiki taqdeer badla nahin karti !!
And the most famous of his ghazals..HAIL FARAZ.
Ranjish hi sahi dil hi dukhane ke liye aa
aa phir se mujhe chhod ke jaane ke liye aa..
(Ranjish=enmity)
Pahale se maraasim na sahii phir bhi kabhi tou
rasm-o-rahe duniya hi nibhane ke liye aa..
(maraasim=relationship,rasm-o-rahe=customs)
Kis kis ko batayenge judaai ka sabab ham
tu mujhse khafaa hai tou zamaane ke liye aa ..
(sabab=reason)
kuch tou mere pindaar-e-mohabbat ka bharam rakh
tu bhi to kabhi mujh ko manaane ke liye aa..
(pindaar=pride)
ek umr se hoon lazzat-e-giriyaa se bhi maharuum
aye raahat-e-jaan mujh ko rulaane ke liye aa..
(lazzat-e-giriyaa=taste of tears, maharum=devoid)
ab tak dil-e-khushfeham ko tujh se hain ummiden
ye aakharii shammen bhi bujhaane ke liye aa
(khushfeham=optimistic,shamme=candles)

LOVE
How do you define love? I believe ‘pure’ love is giving whatever you have; whatever you could to the person you love, expecting nothing in return.
Is this possible at all in this world?
I think it is not possible, though there are some exceptions which I will also discuss.
Well, when someone says that he loves his girlfriend, if taken literally he is telling a lie in some way. Would he be saying the same thing if she does not love her back or leave him for someone else. Would he still be ready to do whatever it takes to make her happy? The ‘expectation’ part is always there. It’s almost impossible to take that out from the equation. You cannot keep on giving without getting anything in return. This trade of giving and taking is not love. It is what we can say ‘a relationship’. Relationships are more of a buyer seller phenomenon. It’s a trade. Though positive emotions may be involved in a relationship but bounded by millions of constraints or expectations. If the constraints are not met it does not take much time for this positive to change to negative and the so called pseudo love going for a toss.
There is only one exception to this that I could ever know with my limited knowledge. The love of a mother for her child. The exception fully holds especially when the child is an infant or very young. The motherly love is the purest. In most cases when the child grows up to have some senses, the expectation from the mother could be there. But here also she doesn’t expect much. She will do 100 things for you and maybe expect one in return.
The others in this picture could be figures who are gods for some people. Buddha, Sri Krishna, Guru Nanak etc. or great people like Mother Teresa. It is known and generally said that they loved the whole humanity. But these entities are like one in billions.
The next time you buy a 100 flower bouquet on valentine day for your girlfriend. Just think did you ever gift a single flower to your mother.
I have become extremely emotional while writing this article. I miss u MOM.

People who suck
1) Guys with a weird split personality. With you, they will be quite normal. When some unknown third person (mostly gals) comes in the scene they will start acting as if they are the coolest dude ever on earth ~ “Go get a life, loser”
2) Guys who ask questions in the class or conferences, just for the heck of it. Everybody, including them knows that the questions are stupid. ~ “Listen nerd, if you really want to grab attention why don’t you do some monkey dance. I am sure that will solve your purpose and ours too”.
3) People who boast about their boozing capacity and think that it really made them macho. ~ “Hey,I heard you also took 3 bottles in your backside, You are a real Tarzan dude.”
4) Woh log jinki har baat se fut jati hai. If the sensex goes down by 50 points they think that they won’t get a campus placement this year.
5) Some guys, when they see a normal small town guy would say “ He is so desi and uncool” ~ “ Yeah man, I know your Mother got screwed in London by a firangi begger”
6) People who have listened to only “Nothing Else Matters” and “ Sweet child O mine” and would say that they are into heavy metal ~ “Atleast you are somewhat better than those gals who think that Britney Spears is rock”.
I respect people who like listening to Himesh Reshamiya , atleast they are not fake.
7) People who say that they are into adventure sports and they have only trekked in their life and that too only vaishno devi.
8) Gals who say that they look for only intelligence, sensitivity and sense of humour in their dream man, money and looks doesnt matter to them ~ " Why does then that rich dumb brat in the Mercedes get all the chicks ? Oh I see you are not like most of the girls. But why does every girl says the same thing.
9) People who pretend to have accents which they dont have and they do a really bad job of faking it. Even worse than those are anchors of TV shows on Mtv, Channel V and Zoom who speak hindi in english accent. I feel like entering the TV and slapping those bitches.
10) Couples who get overly cozy in public places like pubs and restaurants.. " I have a great idea for you guys .. " If you really want the public to see you guys making out, why dont you make a MMS or a porn movie ? You can earn some bucks as well"
11)Politicians like Raj Thackarey who are worse than the LeT terrorists.I need not explain why.I think Indian Govt. should send him to Pakistan and get from them some most wanted terrorist as an exchange. That would be really cool.
12)People who look for reasons to boast about their financial well being..Yaar my Honda Accord is parked there..lets go. What the heck dude? Did I ask your car's name or are you a salesboy of Honda Accord.
13) People who send fwd text msgs on diwali or other occasions.."May this diwali lights up you life...blah blah " Fuck u man !! do u even rememeber the names of all the people you send this sms..forget about meaning what you are sending.
14)Females 25+ years old who get extremely excited and cry and faint after sighting any of their favourite Bollywood actor..Its high time gurl..high time..grow up now.
15) People who call themselves crazy and insane and think that it made them cool. A proper word for them is asshole.

LOSER
A loser stands out of the race. He is sick and tired of the rat race. The race is never ending. The place is full of hypocrites and even bigger losers than him.Now he gets the time for self introspection. He is amused at himself " why was he running" ? He was not getting any happiness or peace of mind. Were it the pressure of the society? But why? Society itself is worthless. Its spineless with no principles. Fuck the society.
Maybe he didnt know what to do. He was just doing what everyone does i.e. follow the herd.
He studied somthing because all the so called bright kids were doing that. After some years of uninteresting work in the job; he is again studying something which is again all bull and crap. What is the use of all this effort ? The void is still there. He is still unhappy. Sometimes, he seems to laugh and enjoy with his friends but he knows that he is getting wasted from inside. He dreams of bringing about a revolution in the society - but how can one man change everything. So many great people couldnt do anything. The society still sucks like always. Pessimism rides over him.
Loser wants to run away from everything. He wishes to delve into some other place. A utopian world of nothingness. But he knows he cannot. He is too weak. He has to run the rat race again or else he will be named the looser of the society. He is too scared of societal disgrace.
He is waiting for the day when all his patience will run out. The day when he will have the utmost courage to free himself from the sickness. He longs for that day. But till then.....the loser runs on.
